The Educational Qualification / Eligibility required for Scientist ‘B’ Jobs are as follows :-

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology or equivalent with not less than 60% marks in aggregate (50% for SC/ST candidates).

Number of Scientist ‘B’ Jobs in BIS :-

Pay Scale ( Salary ) for Scientist :- Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs.5400 plus allowances as applicable.

Age Limit for Scientist :- The candidates must be between 21-27 years of age as on 01.12.2013.

Selection Procedure for Scientist ‘B’ in Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) is online examination and Interview. The Interview centre, address of the venue, time & date of Interview will be informed to the shortlisted candidates in the call letter.
