Minimum Educational Qualification:

The candidate must hold, as on 1st July, 2015, Intermediate or its equivalent examination recognised by the State Government. In the case of a candidate belonging to Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes, as on 1st July, 2015, he/she must have passed SSC or its equivalent examination recognised by the Telangana State Government and should have studied Intermediate and appeared for the Intermediate Examination in, both the 1st year and 2nd year

4) Stipendiary Cadet Trainee (SCT) Police Constable (TSSP) (Men) in Police Department : 4065 Vacancies

5) Constable (Men) in Special Protection Force (SPF) Department : 174 Vacancies

5) Firemen in Telangana State Disaster Response & Fire Services Department : 416 Vacancies

Selection Procedure for Stipendiary Cadet Trainee (SCT) Police Constable (Civil / AR) (Men & Women), Stipendiary Cadet Trainee (SCT) Police Constable (SAR CPL / TSSP) (Men) and Constable (Men) in Special Protection Force (SPF) Department is Preliminary Written Test, Physical Measurements Test, Physical Efficiency Test and Final Written Examination.

Scale of Pay for Stipendiary Cadet Trainee (SCT) Police Constable (Civil / AR) (Men & Women), Stipendiary Cadet Trainee (SCT) Police Constable (SAR CPL / TSSP) (Men) and Constable (Men) in Special Protection Force (SPF) Department : Rs.16400-49870.

Age Limit for SCT Police Constable ( Civil / AR / SAR CPL / TSSP ) and Constable (Men) in Special Protection Force (SPF) :

Must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 25 years as on 1st July, 2015 i.e., must have been born not earlier than 2nd July, 1990 and not later than 1st July, 1997.

Age limit for Firemen in Telangana State Disaster Response & Fire Services Department : 

Must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 33 years as on 1st July, 2015 i.e., must have been born not earlier than 2nd July, 1982 and not later than 1st July, 1997.

The Application Fee and other details regarding Police Constable & Firemen Vacancy are as follows :-

The applicants belonging to OC / BC shall pay a fee of Rs. 400/- (Rupees four hundred only) and those belonging to SC / ST shall pay a fee of Rs.200/- (Rupees two hundred only) towards Application Processing and Examinations.
